Think Tank is a marketing, advertising, and social media agency that is rooted in social storytelling. For nearly 10 years, we have worked with companies that have a story to be told. Our clients are passionate about what they do and want to share their work, product or service with the community. We work very closely with business owners and arts producers to determine the best mix of marketing and advertising to shape their story and achieve their goals.

We develop and execute strategic marketing plans, social media tactics, messaging, promotional opportunities, press and media relations, and advertising. Every client’s marketing mix is different and we focus on tracking results. Our long-term relationships with our clients allow us to adjust and pivot their marketing as necessary – with the ultimate goal of achieving success.

We like to say that we are social-centric. What does this mean? It means we help our clients thrive in a social world. Think about it. Being social requires you to build trust, engage in two-way communication, pick up on non-verbal cues, and analyze interactions. For many of us this is subconscious in our day to day interactions.

As it applies to our clients, it’s purposefully conducting business by being mindful of your community, by being authentic and contributing to the community. It’s listening, connecting, and reaching out to others — knowing that you are not alone and that, maybe, you are stronger together.

Right now, because we can’t be as social in person, the world is very much online. We partner with clients to ensure that they remain socially-connected, working closely with them to determine the best mix of marketing and advertising to tell their stories and achieve their goals.

Founder and CEO

Randy Blevins is the Founder and CEO of Think Tank Marketing which was started in 2011 to provide social media marketing strategies and online content services to Louisville businesses. Think Tank has now evolved to offer integrated marketing solutions to consistently and creatively tell the story of brands and businesses. He works with small-to-medium sized businesses in the Louisville, Kentucky area and with national touring Broadway productions to help achieve better brand awareness using traditional online properties and social media channels.

Randy began his career nearly 25 years ago at Actors Theatre of Louisville and has been a champion of the Louisville arts scene ever since. He has experience in the areas of marketing, design, public relations, event planning, social media management, and brand management. As the former Marketing Director at Actors Theatre of Louisville and Director of Brand Management at Broadway Across America, he was heavily involved in the development and implementation of new brand identity systems for both organizations.

Since then, Randy has worked to tell the stories of Louisville businesses in a wide variety of industries. In addition to his work with clients, Randy has supported a number of non-profit organizations and business associations over the years. He currently serves on the Board of Directors for The Animal Care Society, Louisville's first no-kill shelter. He is actively involved in the Louisville Independent Business Alliance, a graduate of Focus Louisville, and received his MBA from Bellarmine University where he was inducted into the Beta Gamma Sigma business honor society.

Marketing Director

Diane brings to Think Tank a wealth of digital media and marketing experience along with a passion for strengthening customer relationships.

Throughout the 90s, Diane led a team of Client Services Managers for ADVO, a billion-dollar direct marketing company, and spearheaded a nationwide departmental process improvement initiative resulting in a bottom-line production cost reduction of 23%.

As the business internet landscape developed, she managed the company’s inter and intranet communications sites remotely while starting her family. As her daughter’s entered elementary school, Diane used her graphic design and web development background to help local small businesses build a professional brand identity online.

Diane returned full time to the marketing workforce in 2014 as the senior interface designer for a small business app developer, quickly resuming a leadership role overseeing a team focused on both customer support and design. Three years later, she was approached to lead the marketing team for a Lexington Telemedicine start-up company, based on software Diane played a key role in developing.

Diane met Randy at a fundraising gala in November 2018 and was impressed by his fresh approach to building successful campaigns for his clients based on understanding the “why” of their businesses and developing strategies to define the client’s story. “I knew I wanted to be a part of something that dynamic, so I was thrilled to have the opportunity to join the Think Tank team.”
